Then after that, she say last time how she lived when she was 7.

She keep saying that she have to mop the floor, clean the house and the moping was not using a mop to mop the floor but pouring soapy water all over the floor and using a towel to slowly clean it bit by bit by herself. And she said it again and again.

Then in the end she said is my fault for wasting her time when she could be able to get some sleep now.

I stood there for one hour listening to all her crap.

Today, i made a really big decision.
I decided.
I decided to take combine science.
C2.
Instead of double humans.
I realised that phy open to more doors and it was worth it with the exchange of hard work.
Everybody said that humans is not really of good use and i saw that alot of people choosed C2 too. So i think i made the right choice.
Then on the other hand, i saw the people who ranked higher than me want to go into double humans too, they didn't put triple science.

Today got back the results.
I got really bad.
Its a little more than half for the level ranking.
Its really really bad.
I only can manage to get in the 3rd class barhhs.
If really very lucky then i will get into the 2nd class i want.
I think i first choice put double science, then i triple science, then the third choice idk what to put.
The C1 surely out liaos, cause i don't want to do DNT.
I just suck at it.
Then idk want to put C2 or C4 as third choice.
I want POA and A maths.
But then geog more important or POA?
Which one better?
I think is POA lerhhs.
Then C2 got A maths and POA, then got social studies (Geog elective) and science phy/ chem.
But then i think C4 is SUPPOSED to be better, but idk should go in anot.
Got A maths, combine science chem/bio, pure geog, and social studies history elective.

Hmms, my cousin say history elective more easy and chem/ phy easier...

Hey peeps, these few days never post cause my grandmother suddenly passed away and have to deal with the funeral and all that. I ASK YOU ALL TO PRAY FOR HER. YOU ALL GOT PRAY ANOT??
Obviously you all didn't.
Haishh.
It was that fateful day.
Last saturday.
It was morning when my mother suddenly woke me up.
She was saying that the hospital just called and i knew it was about my grandmother.
I wanted to wake up, but my body just couldn't respond.
I didn't get ready to wake up, it was after that when i finally could get out of my bed.
We rushed to the hospital.
My father was in a very seriously bad mood on the way there.
We reached the hospital and had to register before we could get in.
When we got to the ward. I saw that my granmother's bed was covered with the curtains and my father's sister, my gugu was sitting outside.
I was walking to her when she started to breakdown and she cried.
My father knew what happened before all of us did.
He kept asking my gugu in teochew: She left?
She left?! She left?!
My gugu just managed to nod her head, still crying.
When i did knew what happened, i kept my heart skipped a bit, and i just felt like crying.
I cried too.
Everything just happened too fast.
After that, i saw my brother trying to hold back his tears too.

After a while everybody started to calm down a little bit.
My father and his bigger brother went to apply for the death certificate and we went to the Town Council.
Everything was in a blur.
We went to my grandmother's house and i already saw the people from the temple, people building the tent for the funeral, man, they worked fast.
Then we just started the funeral without any notice.
Fortunately, all my cousins have finished their exams, me too, except for my brother.
Then we were dressed in white and navy blue, white and black for the first generation.
We went through the rituals and we started to fold 'jin zi' , money for the dead.
We had to sing the ritual song, which i don't understand a single word, for very very long.
i didn't even keep track of the time.

Then it was the heartbreaking moment when the last day arrived.
It was time for my grandmother to be really really gone.
My grandmother's coffin was placed in a van, then the elders, especially boys were told to hold onto the back of the car.
then we just walked and walked on the road.
People were looking at us, of course.
But the chinese wouldn't dare because there was a believe that if you keep looking at a dead person's car, you would be possesed by the spirit.
Then we reached the temple.
That was when my grandmother's coffin will be burned and the ashed will be kept.
We did a few rituals and i saw my grandmother's coffin go into the incinerator.
For the moment, i felt a urge to make my grandmother come back again.
Although i was not very close to my grandmother, i was very heartbrokened.
My father and his siblings all cried. I never saw my father cried before, guess he was really very sad.
My grandmother is really gone, not coming back again.

Sad day !
Okayee , now i am posting and using the computer cos theres not much to learn for maths tmr right ? Yeahh right . ._.

My mother said that when she went to see her , her eyes was just staring at nothing , into space because her brain could not react and close her eyes . You know what i mean ?
After that the doctor made her close her eye , afraid that there will be germs that go in her eyes .
I think the whole family was crying .
The doctor announced that she was in coma and if after 7days her heart still has no reaction , hes going to pull the machine that keeps her heart beating .
This is not a joke and i am not joking . Please dont laugh at other people's sorrow and pray for the best instead . This really happened to my grandmother .
Let's pray for her to wake up soon .

hmms. now need to learn the significance of the pebbles, chapter12.
here it goes again~

Pebbles: His angry and heavy heart that he will be missing his sister when she goes to the city to study. And perhaps a twinge of jealousy he is not the one going.
Throwing pebbles: Venting his frustrations of his heavy heart.

Tearing petals of lotus bud: Destroying the blossoming love and hope.
Putting petals onto water: Entrusting the love and hope to an uncomfortable and unpredictable enviroment.
Floating petals: Love and hope can float even if they are in the uncontrollable and unpredictable enviroment.

Significance of quotes:
Lotus bud all shut tight and afraid of outside: Dawan's potential in the form of a tightly closed bud that fears the influence and impact of the unknown outside world, thinking it is only safest when it is always closed.
Lotus bud is comtented: The bud is Dawan's potential life which is safe and comfortable if she chooses to stay in the village. But if she doesn't choose to open up to dare to experience new, big changes, she will not be able to grow up, to blossom like the bud.
Lotus shrinks back into bud when night folds, but to unfold again in dawn: Like the bud which blooms to welcome the unpredictable enviroment, Dawan can grow when she dares to expose herself to change and new experience. When the lotus chooses to back into a bud, it is like Dawan always being able to remember what she loves the most and who she will always be.

Here it goes :

The symbolic significance of the caged sparrow represents a trapped Dawan. The cage represents the difficult situation that restricts Dawan from pursuing her scholarship. Due to the patriarcial culture, girls are not as important in the village hence it was very hard for her to get support from her family and even the monk. When the sparrow is prodded to get out of the cage, it represents Bao nudging Dawan to be brave in her hope and struggle in pursuing her dream. When the sparrow soars off in the sky, it represents Dawan's success and freedom in pursuing her scholarship. The crushed dead sparrow represents the loss of life and freedom. Bao had shown Dawan how they could struggle for their dreams in this oppressive enviroment and they experience freedom, like the fighting against Vichai's abuse of power, he caused her to fall and kill an innocent bird. It was like killing their dreams and freedom in the process of struggling. It is a bad omen - the dead sparrow represents that their dreams/ freedom were also dead and won't ever come true/ won't ever fly back into the sky again.
